Sign language is a universal language.

Incorrect! Because sign language varies according to the culture of each region.

Not all deaf people cannot hear sound.

Not all deaf people use sign language.

How are deaf people and hard of hearing people different?

Correct! And they also have different needs.

Incorrect! Some deaf people can hear sounds, but they may not be able to understand them as complete sentences.

Incorrect! If they did not attend a school for the deaf, they may not be able to use sign language.

Can deaf people drive?

Correct! Some deaf people can drive even better than others because driving relies more on vision.

Is a deaf person someone who can lip-read?

Incorrect! Only a few people can lip-read, and even with practice, they can only understand about 30% of what is said.
